About iTAG

Overview

Investigating Tobacco and Gender (iTAG) is a research team working together to achieve a comprehensive understanding of gender differences in tobacco reduction and cessation behaviours and to ultimately improve the treatment of tobacco dependence among both genders.

Team members include academics, community-based researchers, health care professionals and policy makers, with extensive backgrounds and expertise in women’s and men’s health, addictions, smoking cessation treatments, tobacco control, health promotion and knowledge translation. We are located at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and the Okanagan.
